PPSU personnel from Penjaringan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force, North Jakarta are repairing the water channel's sheet pile on Jalan Arwana V, RT 06/02, Penjaringan Urban Village, North Jakarta.
The repair has been ongoing since yesterday and is targeted for completion in four weeks ahead
Penjaringan Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Pendi stated the channel itself has length of 100 meters with 80 meters high and 10 centimeters wide.
"The repair has been ongoing since yesterday and is targeted for completion in four weeks ahead," he expressed, Tuesday (4/23).
Broken Sheet Pile at Utan Kayu River Rawasari ImprovedHe added the channel was widened from 20 centimeters into 40 centimeters.
"We send eight personnel to the location," he explained.
He hoped that it could prevent potential flooding on Jalan Arwana V.
The work received appreciation from Penjaringan Ueban Village Head, Makhrus Nugroho Darojat.
"Very good. Hopefully, the function of this channel will be more optimal to prevent flooding," he stated.
